Jules' musical journey is a testament to his dedication and talent. He began his studies in Tourcoing (France), and achieved remarkable success, earning prizes in French horn, music theory, composition, music analysis, and chamber music, demonstrating his multifaceted musical abilities.
This led him to Paris, where he further developed his skills, specializing in the natural horn and even delving into the art of conducting under the guidance of Jean-Sebastien Bereau in Lille (France). Jules' commitment to his craft took him to the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Basel (Switzerland), where he studied under the tutelage of Thomas Müller. There, he earned a pedagogical Master's degree, solidifying his knowledge and expertise in music.
Throughout his journey, Jules had the privilege of collaborating with renowned orchestras and ensembles, including the Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra, l'Arpa Festante, Capriccio Barock Orchester, Ensemble de Joux, Le Phénix, Neuer Orchester Basel, Freiburg Bach Choir, Moment baroque, Ensemble Los Elementos, and many others. His versatility and passion for music shone through in these collaborations.
Since September 2019, Jules has taken on the role of musical director for the Classical Orchestra Roche in Basel (Switzerland), a testament to his leadership and artistic prowess. His journey in the world of music has been marked by dedication, skill, and a profound love for the art.
